About Artist David Farrelly
  1. I'm a 34 old artist living and working in Leixlip Co. Kildare. I've only gone back to art in the last four years after spending my twenties doing mainly production line factory work. Decided to try and make a go of art before I got to old. I enjoy doing portrait work and love using fine line pens because you can go into great detail and when used on top of tea stained paper gives an aged look which I think is quite effective. I also enjoy acrylic and water color painting but am far from a master of either medium. I've been studying graphic design the last couple of years so the computer work is a new outlet and medium which has been opened up to me and I found it amazing and endlessly inspiring.
  2. All in all I'll have a go at anything and commissions are always welcome. Thanks for looking!
