It gives a global platform to artists and makes an invaluable contribution to the promotion of modern Irish culture. Even the art market, dealing with fantasy, aesthetics and hopes, sometimes seems to be a shark pool. Since my first contact with Tom, I appreciate the reliability, warm response, professional advice and encouragement. Me and my artwork - We feel in good hands!

www.newirishart.com is the gateway to emerging Irish artists & art markets.

The 'New Irish Art' website has provided me with a fantastic platform to expose my paintings to a wider audience. Since joining the site in April I have received numerous replies from enthusiastic art lovers all over the world. Emails have come from Europe, America and South Africa as a result of being linked into 'New Irish Art', and I find myself regularly recommending this brilliant site to both collectors and other artists. A user-friendly design backed up by Tom Hogarty's devoted management makes it a superb showcase for anyone wanting to get their art seen. In such an unregulated game as the art one it's good to know that 'New Irish Art' is out there.

Best wishes,
George H Smyth [Irish Painter, 2009]

The New Irish Art web site is a wonderful asset both to me as director of Joan Clancy Gallery, and to the artists who exhibit with us. Tom and the New Irish Art team are doing a fantastic job.

I cannot say enough good words about Tom and Alan at New Irish Art dot com... they're professional and incredibly consistent with their high level of outreach to both artists and art markets; as either an artist in Ireland or an art collector world-wide, you cannot go wrong by working with www.NewIrishArt.com It's a no-fuss art portal, all about the art, and only about the art.

Best Wishes,

What a service to all [...] with this Website. At last we have a platform to show our efforts to the public, and it is all due to [...] even if I never sell a single picture, I am amazed by the wealth of talent that this site contains, and has been made available to all, by your efforts,

I have been with New Irish Art since it's inception and I always take a look at what is happening.

Probably the most remarkable thing about the site is the dedication with which you and your wife have stuck at it over the years at no cost to the Artist.

It is laudable how you have managed to carry this at your own personal expense and you deserve some praise from an Artist that has been with you from the start.

If we pay heed to Oscar Wilde when he said "The secret of life is in Art" then you are living that secret. Continue as ever!

Best wishes,
Roger Cummiskey [Irish Artist, Spain, 2009]

Newirishart.com works really well. It's a very efficient and user friendly way to get your work seen worldwide. Within the first week alone, it opened up new doors and opportunities for me.

Thanks very much,

As an Irish artist living abroad I find it difficult to make people aware of my art, especially people in Ireland. New Irish Art has offered it's visitors a sample of my work and it has been very helpful in leading them to discover more about me and my art at my own website. I can't fault New Irish Art. It's an excellent site, nicely designed and easy to navigate. And the help and correspondence from it's creator Tom couldn't be better.

Best regards,
Alan Hogan [Irish Artist, Finland, 2009]

I would just like to extend my many thanks for the great work undertaken by New Irish Art. The website has proved to be one of the best outlets in terms of exposure for my work. I have had a number of direct contacts from customers and galleries alike after my work was viewed on the site. For someone who has just completed the process of designing his own art website I now have an even greater appreciation for how New Irish Art looks, feels and works. Tom has combined creative design and functionability to great effect - something that is not easy to achieve. The site is professional, attractive and simple. I have also found that Tom is very dedicated and responsive with any questions that I have being answered immediately. I think you'll find that if you enter 'irish art' into google the 'New Irish Art' website appears to be one of the strongest sites in terms of displaying art. So once again I'd just like to extend my appreciation for all the work and energy that goes into the site and I hope to see it up and running for the next ten years!

Many Thanks,
David Coyne [Irish Artist, Dublin, 2009]

The New Irish Art website and staff have provided huge encouragement to me in my artistic endeavors over the past 9 years... has worked tirelessly since the site's inception and continues to show amazing dedication and commitment to providing this service.... without the services of New Irish Art a lot of very talented Irish artists would be unable to show their work. The many and regular improvements and changes to the site continue to enhance the viewing experience...imperative that this site continues its very valuable and unique role in the Irish Art World.

Regards,

I just want to thank Tom and New Irish Art for a valuable window to the Irish art scene. As a recent arrival in Dublin, I find the website to be an ideal way to not only publicise my work, but to also enjoy learning more about my peers here in Ireland, and what they are producing. I applaud Tom for his integrity and values, and I look forward to seeing how the site develops over the coming years.

NewIrishArt is providing an irreplacable service to young emerging artists nationwide. Tom has helped me take my artwork to the next level in terms of exposure to the general public by providing me with this platform, and notably, has done so in as enthusiastic and helpful a manner imaginable from my very first correspondance with him. The site itself is top notch, designed so as to be as straight forward / user friendly as possible, making it easy to navigate through the work of some of Ireland's finest contemporary artists. I feel priveliged to be contributing and sharing in this unique vehicle which is, in this student's humble opinion, of inestimable worth to the Irish art scene. 10 more years! Many thanks again!

Yours Truly,
James Hayes [Irish Artist, Dublin, 2009]

Just wanted to say what a great boost newirishart.com is, it has enhanched my art struggles and sales. I do a series of celtic art (myths, legends, pub scenes etc.) and 80% of the reqests I get for prints of my work come from this great website. Living and working out of LA I feel part of the Irish art community. Thanks again,

All the best,
Brian Boylan [Irish Artist, USA, 2009]

Love the site and enjoy reading the updates. The presentation of The Wall of Images is very accessible, attractive and promptly delivered with no unnecessary scrolling of unwanted information. The added bonus is, it presents my work to a whole new audience!

Thank you so much,

I would recommend newirishart to any artist who wants to get his/her work looked at. I was amazed at how simple and fast it was to get on. Thank you to the team. You are doing a very efficient and appreciated job.

I'd like to say what a great job NewIrishArt.com is doing to make people aware of Irish artists and their work. As an upcoming artist it is often hard to get people aware of your work. Because of 'The Wall' I was asked to appear on RTE in 2007 to teach 3 celebrities alongside Jim Fitzpatrick and Phillip French for a charity Telethon appeal. I don't think I would have had that opportunity without this site.

Kind Regards.
Shane Sutton. [Irish Artist, Dublin, 2009]

From my own point of view, I wish I had known about this impressive New Irish Art website several years back, the site is easy to navigate, and most important for a site with hundreds of images, very speedy moving from artist to artist. In particular, moving through each individual artists' paintings, enlarging and reducing, possibly unique to this art site.

Most other Artist sites I have viewed have either a long, bland list of work on display, or the option of a slideshow, no inbetween, Tom has done a first-class job setting up the pages, and we appreciate the time and effort put in. Also, looking at the other artists work is inspiring. I have referred the site to several artist friends, and I look forward to adding paintings to New Irish Art for some time to come.

Many Thanks,
Peter Price [Irish Artist, Dublin, 2009]

The New Irish Art site is the best move I ever made as far as advertising my art! Through it, I am now working on an art commission I would not have got if not for this amazing site. As well as looking great it is such a pleasure to be able to communicate with the Team. They upload my new images immediately and they are presented beautifully.

Thank you for being there and allowing artists access to [the] very professional New Irish Art site,

Yours Truly,
Deirdre Keohane [Canadian Artist, Cork, 2009]

You are running a great website which gives many Irish artists a space in the puplic they otherwise wouldn't have had. Keep up the good work and many thanks,
