About Eamon Reilly
  1. Eamon Reilly is from the picturesque little village of Finea in Westmeath in the midlands of Ireland. Eamon is a self taught artist with a style of his own. His work has been variously described as outsider, naive, folk and pop art. However he doesn't want to be pidgeonholed into any one genre. He works mainly with acrylics and his subjects vary greatly from dealing with emotions, figurative art, animals, movies, abstract art, religious art, cities and the countryside to name but just a few subjects. He loves colour and says he is inspired by his heroes Van Gogh, Picasso, Gauguin, Munch and David Hockney among many other artists whose work he admires.
  2. Eamon loves painting and has been prolific in the eight years he has been painting so far. He hopes to paint forever.
