About Artist Lynda Burke
  1. With influences spanning the glorious Atlantic west coast of Ireland to the sultry Mediterranean coast of Spain, Lynda Burke is most at home painting in Errislannan, Clifden, County Galway.
  2. She had a sell out exhibition in September 2006 during Clifden Arts Week and has been a regular participant in the annual Art trail.
  3. Lynda has worked with poetry publisher Five Islands Press in Australia. Her paintings have been used on the cover of two poetry books by prize-winning Australian poets, Dr Robyn Rowland and Judy Johnson, as well as on the cover of Robyn Rowland's poetry CD.
  4. Her painting 'Asparus' brought a record bid for the Friends of Connemara fundraising Grand Ball in Dublin in 2007.
  5. With her favoured medium of oil on canvas, Lynda's works are renowned for their luminous quality, their ethereal reach and their dynamic and sustained exploration of colour and texture.
