About Artist David Coyne
  1. David Coyne was born in Dublin, Ireland. Having grown up in the Dublin suburbs he is now living and working full time in the West.
  2. David's inspiration is derived from his travels around Ireland and the people and things he sees therein. As an avid visitor to the villages and shorelines of the country he has drawn on an array of subjects and images that he feels reflects the landscape.
  3. David is a self-taught painter choosing the palette knife over the brush to develop his own style. Choosing to work in oil he applies thick, strong colours to create a textured image.
