Biography

Born in Newry in 1949, Oliver's reputation as an artist has soared recently. He embraces traditional themes in a contemporary style, making his work very collectable.

Compared by some to American painter Grandma Moses, Curran is a self-taught artist and former antique-dealer who began painting only relatively recently, yet has exhibited in galleries and shows across Ireland. He has also exhibited at R.H.A. Dublin 2001. His works have commanded hefty commisions over a short period of time.
