About Artist Phil Davis
  1. I'm Phil Davis, a self taught artist living in Ballycotton, Co Cork. I work from a studio in the Stephen Pearce Gallery, Shanagarry, where I also run art classes.
  2. I have been painting for over 20 years and have had several solo exhibitions in the Cork area as well as exhibitions with "The Old Road Painters" a local group of which I am founder.
  3. My work is mainly in Oils or Acrylics, with the odd watercolour, but over the years I have tried most mediums. Living alongside the sea, a lot of my inspiration is drawn from the environment around me and the daily bustle of the local fishing fleet.
