Biography

I am originally from Tralee, County Kerry and am now living and studying in Dublin. A recent graduate of University College Dublin, with a degree in Architectural Science. Drawing/painting has always been my first real passion. Oils on canvas, my preferred medium. I studied Art for six years under the tutelage of the renowned Limerick artist Henry Morgan.

The pieces showcased here reflect my diverse interests in themes and subject matter, ranging from landscapes, figurative and portraiture. I am constantly inspired by nature and the untamed Irish landscape in my native Kerry.

I was largely un-exhibited until quite recently. However I devoted a huge amount of time and effort this summer, based in Dingle Co. Kerry, to completing a substantial body of work for my first public exhibition as part of the 'Peoples Art Exhibition 09' at St. Stephen's Green in September. The exhibition was quite successful with the work receiving a lot of attention and was very warmly received on the whole. Commissions welcome
