About Artist Deborah McCoy
  1. I graduated with distinctions from Bray Institute for Further Education,2006 with a BTEC Diploma in graphic design. Since then I have enjoyed exploring different mediums such a pen, pastels, pencil, watercolour and computerized graphics with my preferred tool at the moment being oils.
  2. My subject matter can vary also, but living in Glendalough in Co. Wicklow stimulates my passion for nature and wildlife. Momentarily I have started work on Irish wildlife and informing myself about the animals habitat, their nature is proving to be a rewarding experience. I particularly enjoy creating animal portraits.
  3. I work at The Glendalough Gallery in the energetic Brockagh Resource Centre where I regularly display my work along with other artists.
