Biography

'My work is based on places, characters and events throughout my youth. I grew up in Woodstown, Co. Waterford, so woodlands, animals and mythology mean a lot to my imagery'.

'I work with a mixture of oil paint and collage to create scenes based on imagery I associate with them. The artists who are a continuous source of inspiration for me are Salvador Dali, Henri Rousseau, Sean Hillen and Brian Froud'.
