About Artist Corina Thornton
  1. During the first years of her artistic career Thorn was critically acclaimed in Oxfordshire, England, along with her mentor and colleagues of 'Bohemian Bizarre', the first collective of artists Thorn co-founded in 1995. Later Thorn was aided in the creation of the Cavan Visual Arts Network, and lastly after moving to Westmeath she founded and set up the Westmeath Arts Movement with the backing of Leader II, and the Arts Council of Westmeath.
  2. Her work has an exquisitely unique and original style due to her personal discipline and absolute dedication to her art, with many heralding her work as 'deeply provocative', 'unusually emotive' and 'an Exhilarating Experience!'
  3. Constantly striving for the furtherance of the arts, and dedicated to personal progression, Thorn will surely maintain the art of enigmatic surprise, which has become her trademark, Onwards and Further!
