Iwona Nartowska O'Reilly was born in 1974 in Gdansk, Poland. She studied art in Jaroslaw School for Fine Arts.

In 1999 she came to Ireland and now resides in Carlow. Iwona is mainly a figurative painter and works with oils either on canvas or on wax coated board.
