About Artist Kate Scott
  1. Kate Scott is an established artist based in Ennis, Co. Clare. She holds a BA (Hons) and is currently working towards her MA at Limerick University.
  2. Kate regularly exhibits her work in and around Co.Clare. Her last exhibition held in the Clare Museum was inspired by the natural aesthetics of the Burren with her paintings capturing the earthy yet delicate fusion of colours on display in the Burren landscape.
  3. Kate is inspired by nature and its many different forms of movement. Her recognisable style adds a touch of natural flow which is present in all her paintings. Currently, due to a recent commission she has been engaged in the study of old black and white images of Ennis which are themselves a memorable 'snap shot' of a long forgotten past.
  4. Kate paints mainly in Oils on canvas but past works include the medium of pastels and water colours.
