About Artist Kerensa Barr
  1. Kerensa D'Arcy Barr is an artist based in North County Wicklow. Kerensa spent almost 15 years living, working and developing her passion for art overseas, before returning to Ireland in 1998.
  2. She has lived in America, Australia, Kenya and Indonesia, and has been influenced by the rich and diverse cultures she has encountered in developing her own approach and distinctive style. Her landscapes reveal something of her fascination for the sensuality of trees in a forest domain with pathways leading to unknown destinations, metaphors for her own journeys - some taken, some imagined.
  3. Her colourful and distinctive works are a stylized reflection of the scenery she encounters daily, living in the Garden of Ireland.
