About Artist Liam Joseph Mooney

I am self-taught artist from Laois.
I work in Acrylics and occasionally oils.
The majority of my work is figuritive and contemporary in style, although I also enjoy abstract painting.
My figures are placed in Pubs or clubs where I can explore my preoccupation with how people interact with each other in the social environment.
Colour and contrast between light and dark feature heavily in my work.
