Lisa Catherwood lives and works in Belfast. The stuff of life: water, light and human relationships inspire her work.

Working primarily in oils recently panels of enamelled copper have been incorporated into the work adding a new and unusual dimension.

Self taught Lisa has had a long and difficult journey through ill health, and the experience has naturally fed into the work, much of her recent work is a reaction to the confinement. It is vibrant, colourful and energetic.
