About Artist Liza Kavanagh
  1. Irish artist Liza Kavanagh graduated from the Limerick College of Art and Design with a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art in 1996. She now lives just south of the Curragh plains in Co. Kildare with her husband, two young children, a neurotic Weimeraner and a slightly less crazy tom cat!
  2. Of her work she says 'My current work is inspired by the rolling farmland, flora and fauna which surrounds my home, colour and form play important roles within the pieces and there is a strong emphasis on the flow of the composition'.
  3. Working primarily in gouache, Liza produces detailed pieces in a contemporary style.
