About Artist Michael P Smyth

I have grown up in west Belfast and for 40 years I have enjoyed painting in oil and acrylic,sculpting in bog oak and casting in resins. My art had taken a back seat for many years while the kids where growing up but over the past couple of year ive been developing my style and enjoying my art more than ever.
I built a Wee studio at my home and now spend many many hours here. My greatest inspiration is Ireland, it people, its rivers, loughs, mountains and seascapes.
