About Artist Mihaela Bosnegeanu
  1. I was born in Gdansk, Poland. That's where I was raised, fell in love with horses (the first thing I ever drew was a horse, albeit it had split feet, like a cow's, and reins attached to its ears), and did an extended fine art program in secondary school. Specializing in equine art was just a matter of time as my interest in horses and equine industry never faded. And even though my studies and later my professional career had nothing to do with either art or horses, I never stopped drawing.
  2. I travelled a lot in the meantime and lived in several countries, until I finally settled in Ireland a few years ago. I am currently based near Clonmel in Co. Tipperary.
  3. Today my work can be found in private collections in several European countries, Australia and Asia. I am also available for commissions. Pencil and charcoal have always been my favourite media, as I believe that the colour simplicity makes the images more striking.
