About N.E.Lewshun
  1. The artist N.E.Lewshun exhibited his collection of work titled, 'Positive Negatives' in the Stonebridge gallery during the Wexford Opera festival 2011. These were the culmination of experiences as the artist spent the first half of the year painting in Paris, then spending the next half of the year recovering.
  2. Also during the Opera festival 2011 a permanent installation of murals by the artist was launched in the Club 147 South Main Street Wexford.
  3. In October 2010 the artist displayed his collection of work titled, 'The illusion of mind from the mind of N.E.Lewshun' in the Bride Street gallery during the Wexford Opera festival, received to rapturous applause, standing ovations, much back slapping and panty throwing.
  4. In July 2010 the artist was winner of the J.F.K. Dunbrody festival of art, his stand out piece being the elaborately titled, 'The evolution of spirit. Man becomes crow', which now resides in the Paddy Quinn collection in the Brandon House Hotel. Available for public viewing.
  5. The artist was director/organiser and exhibitor in the 'Allsorts exhibition' (2005-2007). Prior to this he travelled to New Zealand to paint for a year, where he travelled in the company of a Maori called Mason, who showed him the mix of the traditional Maori culture with the modern street culture. Essentially getting him really drunk and doing the 'Haka'.
  6. In 2006 N.E.Lewshun was commissioned to do a series of works for the Wexford Credit Union, which now reside in their main building on Anne Street Co. Wexford. This was before the recession when banks were buying art not selling it off.
  7. All commissioned and other works by the artist are in private collections. And what a wonderful bunch of people they are.
  8. Currently the artist is writing a children's book which will hopefully be published by the end of the year. So parents beware.
  9. N.E.Lewshun is self-taught, believing that we are all creative souls; we need only to find our medium and outlet; be it a wall, a canvas, or on someone's face when their asleep or inebriated.
