About Artist Nikki Cranley
  1. Nikki Cranley is a self-taught artist based in Dublin. I pursued academia, receiving my degree in physics, masters in computer science and then phD in engineering. Currently, I sort of work in the aviation industry. Throughout those endless studies, my heart, mind, and passion were elsewhere.. I drew incessantly... albeit in a highly scientific abstract and fluid way. Since discovering paint only a few years ago my style has evolved and changed considerably.
  2. So far, I have worked mainly with acrylic, biro, ink etc but I have experimented with some unconventional objects as well.
  3. I welcome any and all feedback. I want to be challenged and critiqued. In return I want to challenge.

  3. Ireland's favourite painting might still be undiscovered, we salute the 10 shortlisted artists and invite our visitors to search out the next Irish Masterpiece right here, on New Irish Art.
