After completing a BA(Hons) in Fine Art at University of Central England. Birmingham. Philip was later invited to join the Royal College of Art(London) where he took his M.A. RCA. Philip toured the USA, Canada, Australia, India and the Far East before coming home to Ireland.

Married to the Sculptor, Kate French. Philip has settled happily in Kinsale, Co Cork. Ireland. Both he and Kate exhibit and sell their art-work from their studio - gallery, called" Gallery 23." A beautiful listed building located in the ancient centre of this historic coastal town. He exhibits widely and his paintings feature in a number of prestigious collections.
