Sara Foust lives and works in Co. Clare and creates artwork inspired by the dramatic landscape of the west of Ireland.

Sara trained in Fine Art at Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design in the United States. She specialises in landscape, portraiture, and mural painting.

She completed her specialised mural training with master muralist Susan Cervantes in San Francisco, California, where more than 50 of Sara's murals remain. Sara Foust has exhibited her work in many locations throughout the United States, as well as in Co. Mayo, Co. Kerry, and Co. Clare.

Sara works primarily in acrylics, but also works in watercolour, photography, pastels and printmaking.
