About Artist Stephen Diggin
  1. I am a self taught artist living and working in Buncrana, Co.Donegal, Ireland.
  2. The Donegal landscapes and the beautiful scenery of my native Inishowen Peninsula gives me much of the inspiration I need for my paintings.
  3. I don't really have a 'style' as such as I paint with brushes and the palette knife and sometimes both together, mainly using oils on canvas and I tend to jump from subject matter to subject matter [although at the moment I'm stuck on landscapes]. I go where the mood at the time takes me and how each painting is progressing. I feel that in working this way helps keep my work fresh. I hope you like my work.
