About Artist Stephen Flynn
  1. Stephen took up art seriously a few years before retiring in 2008 and now is able to spend more time developing his art.
  2. Stephen loves the challenge of trying to capture likeness and character in his portraits. He also does figurative work where he tries to capture those 'moments in time' and the beauty of the body.
  3. His first solo exhibition was called 'Dance within the Dancer' in the Firkin Crane in Cork focusing on belly dance.Since then Stephen has regularly exhibited locally, and his work has found its way into many homes.
