About Artist Trudi Doyle
  1. Trudi Doyle originally from Hacketstown Co.Carlow and having lived and worked in Berlin, Brussles, New York, London and for several years in Dublin now works from her studio in Ballyconnell on the Carlow Wicklow border where she has created a centre for the arts 'Bunbury Art Studio', providing art weekends and creative workshops from April to October each year. She also tutors abroad in Tuscany and the South of France.
  2. Her work can be seen in various galleries and regularly at Eigse Carlow, Kilkenny Arts Festival ,Wexford Opera Festival, RDS Art Fairs also in Russborough Hse. Blessington and at her studio.
  3. Trudi works in watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels. The work shows a celtic reverence of spirit evoking the silence and mystery of a world interpreted by Trudi through a very personal filter of perception. Her work mines the landscape of her childhood, her dreams and some of her pieces refer to mythology and tap in to the universal memory of the collective unconscious. She maintains a balance between intellect and intuition; we see the innermost imagination coming to terms with the material world.
