About Artist Vera Lysaght

Vera Lysaght is an Irish Artist living in Naas Co.Kildare and is also an Art Teacher having taught F.E.T.A.C programmes in Art, Craft and Design. She has exhibited her own work Nationally and has undertaken several private commissions. She likes to work with a range of diverse materials and her most recent work is of abstract form giving vent to one's imagination. The above work is mainly done using Acrylics and wax paint. The inspiration for her work comes from her love of colour and design and her love of nature and the countryside. She regards Art as a continuous journey of the imagination.
