Angela Mernagh Art (Download The Catalogue)

Angela Mernagh born the daughter of Irish parents in the North East of England. I was surrounded from an early age by images of Ireland. Since childhood, art has been an important vehicle of expression for me as the written word always proved difficult due to dyslexia.

In the past 20yrs I have worked alongside internationally renowned artists which gave me invaluable experience. I have travelled extensively and lived in Australia where I was fascinated by aboriginal art which has influenced my work. More recently a desire to reconnect with my roots led to me settling in West Cork where I have drawn inspiration from ancient Irish symbols and the beautiful landscape which surrounds me. I am also interested in astronomy as can be seen throughout my work.
