Larry Dunne Art (Download The Catalogue)

Larry Dunne is an emerging Irish visual artist based in Dublin and Wexford. A graduate from the National College of Art and Design, his unique illustrative work - described as 'terrorscapes' - investigates themes such as absurdism, nihilism, existentialism, and the psychological chaos of the mind within the liminal space of the urban labyrinth. He subverts familiar landscapes, anatomy and nostalgic objects by injecting them with humorously surreal and ornate macabre elements in order to create a discussion about the mundanity of human existence and potential futility of all human endeavors.
