The landscape of Northern Ireland is a constant source of inspiration to me. Big skies, green rolling hills and dark, misty coastlines all evoke memories of places once visited, as well as stimulating thoughts of well-being and harmony.

I like to work mainly in acrylics to create layers of texture to capture the beauty of the landscape – sometimes abstract – sometimes more traditional. I continue to work on my painting until it feels right and hopefully if I have a connection with it – other folk will too! Painting for me is a chance to keep learning and also fills me with a sense of joy.
