Philip French (RCA). Philip was born in London UK of Irish Parents, returning to Ireland in 1986.

He initially studied art at the Hornsey College of Art in London 1974. Then completed his BA Hons in Fine Art at Birmingham University 1975/1978 after that he was accepted at The Royal College of Art to do a M.A (RCA) in Fine Art Painting, 1979/1982. under the Professorship of Peter de Francia. Philip. has exhibited at many galleries too numerous to mention. Mainly at The Tom Caldwell Gallery 1986/2008

He is currently exhibiting at Gallery 23. Kinsale Co Cork Ireland 1995/2015. Descriptive of work wise, Philip never likes to be categorised in any genre, a quasi/abstract/figurative, focusing mainly on the landscape in recent years will suffice.
